Ice Follies

One of my favorite Large Cupped Daffodils, Ice Follies.

Some have been  here for years; most years I add more.

Ice Follies starts out with a yellow cup. It fades to almost white.
Just beginning to bloom, there are no mature blooms to show.

Said to be the world's third most numerous daffodil,
Ice Follies is a great landscape cultivar.
Here, under a seedling dogwood.

Beautiful daffodils Nell Jean, I really like this cultivar. One to add to my wish-list!

Very pretty. I think I have some of those, but mine haven't begun to bloom yet.

Wow, I didn't realize how big their cups were. I've been learning about daffs lately and I learned that Ice Follies are one of the better ones for our area (in the south).
