I heard the NASCAR awards in the background and went to see why Jeff Gordon was getting so choked up during his speech. It seems they showed a video clip of his baby and he kind of lost it.
I asked Daddy Senior, who was puzzled about it, if he remembered what Mama used to say when some of us got tearful: "You know the Joneses, bladder above their eyeballs!"
