When I think of it, so do I. They're about ready to bloom, with big fat buds.

No traditions here, jean. I have in the past done both paperwhites and amyrillis, but none this year - too busy!
Thanks for the visit; NO, we didn't have a cathedral ceiling - just the usual height.
I didn't get my paperwhites planted until last week so no Christmas blooms for me. I blog about daffodils and paperwhites so my procrastination is kind of embarrassing. Oh well, they'll still be just as nice in January.
