A Last Look at 2013.and a Resolution

I decorated the greenhouse with old style Christmas lights from forty years ago. 

 Coming into bloom for the New Year are Kalanchoes in the white pots.

 Grouping bulbs of one color together gives a view we never considered forty years ago.

 Last of the Schlumbergeras shows up well with colored lights.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to use up things I've kept for years in new ways, starting with Christmas lights. In order to use things in new ways, we need to look at them in new ways.
